width = 88cm is your final width

Example Outside: width = 97cm + 10cm for left + 10cm for right

How to Install Window Blinds

1. Install the brackets into the inside corners of the window. One of the two open sides faces straight out, and the other toward the center .The blinds unit fits in the brackets with the strings facing toward the room.Secure the blind in the bracket with small plastic pieces that slide into the brackets.

2. Put the long plastic wand to the blind controller as directed in the manufacturers instructions. The wand is used for opening and closing the blind slats.

3. Drop the blinds as far as they will go — so that the bottom rests on the windowsill to determine the appropriate length.

4. Remove the plastic retaining tabs from the bottom piece for adjusting the length.

5. Next, slide out the larger bottom piece and cut the strings to the proper length.

6. Remove the excess slats and discard them

7. Replace the bottom piece into the last rung

8. The string ends are tied and pushed into holes under the last rung. This steps may also apply to other types of window blinds

How to Install Curtain Rods

1. Make a mark above the window recess for the required height of the rod. This will depend on curtain length and aesthetic preference. Hanging the rod close to the ceiling line can make a room look taller.

2. Use the height mark to draw a level guide line above the recess; this should extend slightly beyond the recess width on each side.

3. Use a level to make a mark on the horizontal line directly above the corner of the recess.

4. Measure back to mark the position of the brackets. This distance will depend on the width of the gathered curtain.

5. Position the end support on the mark and use a pencil to mark off attachment holes. Remove the end support.

6. Plug attachment holes if necessary and screw into place. Repeat steps for the other end support.

7. It must extend a couple of inches on each side of the end support brackets to accommodate end rings and finials. With supports in place, thread the rod through one end support.

8. Position rings on the rod before threading the other end of the rod through the other end support.

9. Position one ring on the outer side of each of the end supports.

10. Normally these are just pushed to fit; some are secured by a screw.

11. Attach the rod to the bracket by securing screws through the supports and into the rod. You may need to pilot-drill these holes first.
